So I have no idea who is going home tonight, and I'm not even sure I can correctly predict the bottom three! This should be an interesting 60 minutes...
The Roison Murphy song initially made me think this was a Wade Robson group number, but then we got the classic Sonya arabesque pose and I guess I was wrong. Very cool routine, and I definitely loved the red costumes. I was not a fan of Ashley starring in the number, but I guess everyone gets their moment. Lauren and Kent pulled some bboy-esque moves that I'd like to see more of. I think the group routines get better with fewer people because I can't focus on anything with so many people on the stage!
The first three up on the chopping block are Kent, Cristina, and Adechike. No surprise (to me) here, and Cristina is the one sent to the bottom 3. Damn you tween girls! No love for the other girls? What happened to girl power?!?!
Next up for results are Alex, Melinda, Jose, and Ashley. Alex, safe. Jose, safe. Ashley vs. Melinda showdown...loser=Melinda. Damnit! If you're in the bottom 3 in the first week, it's so hard to get out of it.
Last but not least are Lauren, Billy, and Robert(o). Lauren is safe right away, so it's Billy vs. Robert. My neighbor Kim brings up the excellent point that whatever guy is in the bottom will probably go home just because they need to even things out. I really hope not because the last one in the bottom is Robert and he's way better than the two girls in the bottom. Shoot.
Brian Gaynor is on the show today! This is the first surprise performer I've seen in awhile! He's so awesome, and his crew is called Remote Control. Awesome. They really are sooooo good! I don't understand how people physically move their bodies like that!
Solos are next and Cristina is first. Her solos looks pretty much the same as last week but wearing a better outfit (barely). Melinda's is good, but 30 seconds is just not enough with tap since it's all about the buildup. Robert's was pretty all over the place and showed little to no substance and definitely no fight. I think he's gone.
Costa Rican superstar Debbi Nova is performing her new single "Little Drummer Boy". I'm not too interested in the song, but she's dancing with Lauren, Courtney, Comfort, Neil, Ade and Mark! I want them to do All-Star group dances more often! That is the one good thing about DWTS...pro dances are always awesome.
And the verdict - Robert is safe! Not even any comments on his dance or solo. Melinda is safe as well, although Nigel says he voted for her to go this week. I do feel bad for Cristina since she did so well last night, but no one was going to pick up the phone for her since she's so quiet.
